Australian farming families and their family companies own 90% of all farms in Australia, representing $3.6trillion in capital value. They play a substantial role in the economic health of the nation and the local communities in which they operate. In keeping with our purpose of helping families achieve what matters most, we support families in creating successful farming businesses for generations.

We accomplish this by helping families understand how the farm fits into their Purpose of Wealth, both now and across successive generations. We then collaborate with them on a plan to fulfil that purpose, with the farm as a central element. From our experience, we know that families who have a clear Purpose of Wealth and a well-defined Family Strategy have a significantly greater chance of thriving and successfully sustaining and growing wealth for generations.

If a farm forms part of the Family Strategy, then our Agribusiness team, informed by an understanding of farm strategy and operations, can assist with the financial management of the farm, arranging farm funding, human resource management on the farm, succession planning and the acquisition or disposal of farms.

The Agribusiness team works in close coordination with our Family Office, Wealth, Family Succession, Trustee Services, Tax and Accounting specialists to provide a completely integrated service. This approach yields innovative solutions tailored to the unique circumstances of each family and consistent with their Purpose of Wealth.
